About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to embed onsite with law enforcement agencies and own end-to-end customer outcomes using Axon's platform. You'll design and ship AI agents, workflows, and integrations that transform agency operations, measure real-world impact, and iterate until solutions stick in production.
What you'll do
- Discover agency problems onsite and build compliant, mission-focused solutions using Axon's AI Era, workflows, agents, and integrations
- Design, deploy, and ship AI-powered workflows and automations directly with agency users, measuring adoption and operational impact
- Assess operational workflows, identify friction points, and lead strategic transformation initiatives with agency leadership
- Maintain 3-4 days/week onsite presence, troubleshooting builds, coordinating cross-functional resolution, and supporting production stability
- Capture field intelligence on adoption barriers, workflow patterns, and expansion opportunities to inform product roadmap
- Drive end-to-end customer success from deployment through optimization, establishing metrics and proving measurable mission outcomes
