About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to serve as the primary technical owner for a strategic law enforcement customer account in Baton Rouge. You'll embed onsite 3-4 days weekly to design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows, automations, and integrations on Axon's platform—solving real operational problems and driving measurable mission outcomes rather than managing relationships.
What you'll do
- Discover agency problems onsite and design compliant, mission-focused solutions using Axon's AI Era, workflows, agents, and integrations
- Build and ship production-ready AI workflows, automations, and data tools that solve defined customer problems with real users and data
- Own end-to-end outcomes across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success with 3-4 days onsite weekly
- Drive operational transformation by assessing workflows, identifying friction, defining success metrics, and iterating until adoption sticks
- Capture field intelligence, customer insights, and workflow patterns to influence Axon's product roadmap and identify expansion opportunities
- Troubleshoot production issues onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services teams
