Product Quality Engineer II (Onsite)

About this role

Axon seeks a Quality Engineer II to oversee product quality for video and public safety hardware from development through post-market. You'll design test cases, conduct inspections, manage corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and reliability standards are met.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test plans for video and CEW hardware across multiple environments
• Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) teams and root cause analysis investigations
• Create First Article Inspection Plans (FAIR) and manage Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) sampling
• Perform design failure mode analysis (dFMEA) and hazard assessments for new products
• Review supplier inspection reports and process capability data for material approval
• Provide statistical analysis and quality support to field and internal teams

• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement expertise
• Statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Engineering drawing and specification interpretation
• MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Minitab, JMP
• IPC 610-A standards knowledge
• Technical writing and communication
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Quality management systems and product lifecycle processes
