About this role
Axon seeks an experienced Technical Support Engineer II to provide expert-level support for cloud-based law enforcement software. You'll troubleshoot complex customer issues, collaborate with engineering teams on escalations, and help maintain mission-critical public safety systems in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Deliver front-line and escalated support to law enforcement customers using Axon products
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across multiple cloud-based systems
- Document customer interactions with detailed notes and prioritize requests across teams
- Participate in on-call rotation for outage escalations and provide backup support
- Create knowledge base articles on recurring issues and drive resolution follow-ups
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure system functionality and customer satisfaction

- Cloud-based product support (3+ years)
- Technical troubleshooting and complex problem-solving
- JSON schemas, GitHub, Python, VS Code, Azure Data Studio, SSMS
- Communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Law enforcement or public safety domain knowledge
- Independent decision-making and task management
- CJIS background check clearance
- Project leadership and initiative completion
