Product Developer

About this role

AXS is hiring a Product Developer in Charlotte, NC to build full-stack applications that integrate AI capabilities into live entertainment and ticketing experiences. You'll work across frontend, backend, and AI systems, combining traditional web architecture with modern LLMs and embeddings to deliver intelligent user experiences.

What you'll do

• Design and build full-stack applications from concept to production
• Integrate AI capabilities like LLMs, vector search, and AI workflows into products
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define features and system behavior
• Architect scalable backend systems and API-driven architectures
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-driven features
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of AI systems

• Full-stack development (React/Next.js frontend, Node.js/Python/PHP backend)
• REST and GraphQL APIs
• AI API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Vector databases and embeddings
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• System design and data modeling
• Production application shipping experience
