Software Engineer - AI Enablement

About this role

Baseten seeks an AI Enablement Engineer to build and operate internal AI tools and agent infrastructure that boost productivity across the engineering organization. You'll evaluate coding assistants, develop custom agents for workflows like incident triage and code review, and measure impact on developer velocity.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end internal AI stack including model selection, integration, deployment, and monitoring
• Build custom AI agents and LLM-powered tools tailored to engineering workflows
• Evaluate and roll out third-party AI developer tools with configuration and onboarding
• Measure AI tool usage and track impact on engineering velocity and code quality
• Stay current with AI tooling and agent research to identify opportunities for the team
• Support engineering teams in adopting and leveraging AI-powered resources effectively
