About this role

BJAK, a leading Southeast Asian fintech platform, seeks an Android engineer to build native Kotlin features for their finance super app covering insurance, payments, and financial services. You'll own end-to-end feature development from design through production, focusing on clean UX, performance, and reliability for millions of users.

What you'll do

• Develop and ship Android features in Kotlin for insurance, payments, claims and financial products
• Create intuitive mobile flows and integrate backend APIs while ensuring stability and security
• Optimize app performance, crash rates and memory usage using production analytics
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex financial user journeys
• Debug production issues and improve reliability based on user behavior data
• Build AI-assisted experiences using on-device inference where they genuinely improve usability
