About this role

Blossom Health, a Series A mental health AI startup, seeks an Applied AI Software Engineer to build scalable systems powering their clinician and patient-facing platform. You'll own meaningful projects end-to-end, leverage cutting-edge AI to create novel healthcare experiences, and directly impact thousands of patients while working alongside a top-tier team in NYC.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable, reliable systems for core product workflows
  • Ship high-quality code balancing speed with technical rigor
  • Leverage AI/LLM technologies to create intuitive clinician and patient experiences
  • Proactively identify and resolve system reliability risks, owning uptime and observability
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers to raise engineering excellence
  • Own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight from day one

  • Rapid technology adoption and learning
  • Healthcare/clinical domain knowledge (a plus)
