Boom seeks a QA Engineer in Austin to ensure product quality across their rental financial services platform. What you'll do

  • Execute manual and exploratory testing across features, regressions, and edge cases on multiple browsers, OS, and devices
  • Test third-party integrations with payment processors, accounting systems, and banking partners for data accuracy
  • Own final QA approval for production releases and maintain regression test suites
  • Write detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity levels; verify fixes in staging and production
  • Partner with PMs and engineers to clarify requirements and ground tests in real user workflows
  • Maintain test cases, checklists, and QA standards to sustain quality as the platform scales
