About this role
Box is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer for the Higher Education sector in Denver to drive technical wins with enterprise clients. You'll lead demonstrations of Box's AI-powered content management platform, manage technical aspects of deals, and serve as the liaison between sales and product teams.
What you'll do
- Own the technical strategy and execution for assigned enterprise accounts, driving deals forward from a solutions perspective
- Conduct discovery to identify customer business challenges and design tailored Box solutions across the full product suite
- Lead persuasive product demonstrations and technical presentations to IT and business leaders, emphasizing AI capabilities and business value
- Manage integrations, APIs, and technical configurations while acting as quarterback for extended solution teams
- Share customer feedback with Box product and engineering teams to inform platform development
- Support field marketing events as a subject matter expert and travel up to 50% to customer sites

- Solutions engineering or pre-sales technical consulting (5+ years in SaaS/enterprise software)
- AI literacy including LLMs, embeddings, automation, and prompt engineering concepts
- Advanced presentation and storytelling abilities for technical and business audiences
- API, webhook, and modern architecture familiarity (REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, JavaScript)
- Low-code/no-code automation platforms (Nintex, Zapier, Workato, n8n)
- Enterprise software architecture and technical troubleshooting
- Higher Education industry knowledge
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value narratives
