About this role

Sphinx seeks a Junior DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure for a government satellite communications platform. You'll manage Kubernetes and AWS environments, automate CI/CD pipelines, and support secure deployments for national security missions.

What you'll do

  • Support AWS-hosted and on-premises Kubernetes environments
  • Maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes applications using Helm
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across cloud and containerized environments
  • Partner with software engineers to enhance deployment automation and workflows
