Software Engineer II, Backend

About this role

Brex seeks a Backend Software Engineer II to develop scalable financial products that serve thousands of global companies. You'll own features end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality banking solutions in a hybrid San Francisco environment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement backend solutions that improve customer banking experiences
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to build new features and products from concept to launch
• Partner with Sales and Support to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Own problems end-to-end including data models, scalability, operability, and metrics
• Architect and deploy full-stack applications with high engineering standards
• Refine features through testing and optimization to achieve excellence
