About this role
BRINC seeks a senior or principal fullstack engineer to develop web applications for their LiveOps platform, which enables public safety agencies to deploy drones to 911 calls. You'll work on a cloud-native product at the center of their mission to revolutionize emergency response, collaborating closely with customers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy feature-rich web applications serving public safety agencies across the country
- Scope, develop, and iterate on new products based on direct customer feedback
- Build scalable cloud-native solutions supporting real-time drone fleet management and deployment
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines across the company to drive market-leading products
- Navigate technical and product ambiguity to deliver quality software quickly
- Work on data-intensive applications handling high-stakes emergency response scenarios

- Full-stack web development (MERN, MEAN, LAMP, or equivalent stacks)
- NodeJS, JavaScript, and frontend/backend frameworks
- RESTful and microservice-oriented architecture
- SQL and NoSQL database design and implementation
- Cloud-native and serverless development
- Real-time video streaming (RTSP, WebRTC)
- Geospatial software development
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
