Mechanical Engineer

About this role

Mechanical engineer needed to evaluate industrial equipment and piping systems in process facilities, perform failure analysis, and develop repair designs and specifications. Entry-level role based in Lisle, IL with hands-on field work and technical analysis responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Conduct field and technical evaluations of in-service equipment and piping systems
• Perform root cause failure analysis and provide written technical reports
• Calculate specifications, develop repair drawings, and create scope of work packages
• Interface with clients and construction teams at job sites and meetings
• Provide technical support during field execution of repairs and replacements
