About this role
The Brooklyn Nets Basketball Operations department seeks a full-stack developer to design and build software solutions that enhance decision-making and efficiency across the team's basketball operations. You'll work across the entire development lifecycle—from architecture to deployment—creating applications used directly by coaches, scouts, and front office staff to evaluate players, manage rosters, and drive competitive strategy.
What you'll do
- Design and develop full-stack web and mobile applications supporting player evaluation, scouting, coaching, and roster management
- Build scalable internal tools that integrate analytics, predictive models, and basketball metrics into user-friendly applications
- Collaborate with analysts and basketball analytics developers to plan, architect, and maintain basketball software systems
- Create intuitive interfaces optimized for usability and performance for basketball operations personnel
- Develop secure APIs and backend services that enable data integration across basketball operations systems
- Maintain complex software systems, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve application reliability and performance
