About this role
Captivation Software seeks a senior software engineer to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot a suite of applications supporting national defense missions. The role involves implementing, testing, and integrating software with various COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products in a containerized, cloud-native environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python, Bash, and Rust
- Design and deploy containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Manage NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and SQL databases like PostgreSQL
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Troubleshoot and sustain existing software systems in production
- Integrate third-party COTS, GOTS, and open-source components
