Wire Harness Design Engineer II

About this role

CesiumAstro seeks a Wire Harness Design Engineer II to design critical power, digital, analog, and RF interconnects for satellites and aerospace platforms. You'll own the full harness design lifecycle from specifications through testing, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and assembly teams in a dynamic startup environment.

What you'll do

• Design power, digital, analog, and RF wire harnesses and interconnects
• Develop schematics, cable routing layouts, and harness assembly drawings
• Select appropriate connectors and materials for space/airborne applications
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical engineers, and assembly technicians
• Oversee integration and test phases of harness systems
