About this role

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to lead weekend operations (Friday-Sunday, 6 PM-6 AM) for high-temperature superconductor magnet production. You'll serve as the technical lead and decision-maker for the overnight shift, converting novel manufacturing challenges into standardized processes in a first-of-a-kind fusion energy production environment.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage weekend manufacturing team operations independently
• Oversee safe and efficient production of high-temperature superconducting magnets
• Identify novel manufacturing problems and develop scalable solutions
