About this role

Checkr seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to serve as a strategic technical partner for complex sales cycles, designing custom solutions for enterprise clients in the background verification and safe hiring space. You'll blend pre-sales expertise with product knowledge to guide high-value prospects through discovery, solution architecture, and proof-of-concept execution.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical aspects of complex sales deals from discovery through contract closure, partnering closely with the Sales team
  • Design and deliver customized product demos, POCs, solution architectures, and proposals tailored to prospect needs
  • Build relationships with executives and operational leaders by tailoring messaging and positioning Checkr as an industry expert
  • Educate prospects on safe hiring best practices and answer technical and compliance questions
  • Gather customer feedback and translate market insights into actionable product roadmap recommendations
  • Partner with Marketing on case studies, use cases, and events to showcase Checkr's capabilities
