About this role
Join a Y Combinator-backed AI startup as a Forward Deployed Engineer, bridging customer needs and product development for agentic AI systems in private equity and M&A. You'll own end-to-end customer deployments, build data pipelines, and collaborate with C-suite leadership to translate complex business problems into autonomous software solutions.
What you'll do
- Own customer deployments from scoping through data ingestion, pipeline delivery, and optimization for mid-market to enterprise clients
- Build and extend the agentic AI platform in collaboration with core engineering team
- Translate operational complexity into scalable, autonomous software solutions using SQL and Python
- Participate in sales calls to identify expansion opportunities and gather customer requirements
- Work with non-technical stakeholders to surface business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes in production environments
