About this role

A seed-stage AI developer tools company seeks a Pre-Sales Deployed Engineer to bridge technical expertise and sales execution. You'll partner with Account Executives to run hands-on pilots, deliver technical training, and close enterprise deals by demonstrating real-world value to customer development teams.

What you'll do

  • Partner with sales to qualify opportunities and serve as primary technical advisor throughout pre-sales cycles
  • Lead multi-week technical pilots with enterprise dev teams including kickoff calls, office hours, and pair-programming sessions
  • Present product vision and differentiators to audiences from developers to C-suite executives
  • Deliver technical training, live demos, and create customer-facing documentation and enablement resources
  • Build and maintain technical collateral tailored to enterprise use cases (demos, blogs, videos, guides)
  • Gather customer feedback and synthesize insights to inform product roadmap decisions

  • Pre-sales or solutions engineering for technical products (1+ years)
  • Developer tooling and AI-powered development tools experience
  • Object-oriented programming and live pair-programming capability
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Technical presentation and demo delivery skills

  • Enterprise software sales mindset with high EQ
  • Computer Science fundamentals from top program or equivalent
