Threat Intelligence Platform Engineer
About this role
Coinbase seeks a Threat Intelligence Platform Engineer to own and operate Vertex Synapse, the production platform that converts adversary intelligence into security detections and blocks. You'll build integrations for intelligence feeds, ship data into downstream security controls, and partner across teams to translate intelligence requirements into operational capabilities.
What you'll do
- Own production Vertex Synapse instance including platform health, backend operations, monitoring, and data quality
- Build and maintain intelligence feed integrations, enrichments, and tagging workflows
- Ship intelligence into downstream controls, blocklists, data warehouses, and agent workflows
- Translate cross-functional security and product requirements into technical platform capabilities
- Troubleshoot production issues, restore data quality, and implement root-cause fixes
- Rapidly prototype features, fixes, and tooling for Intelligence Analysts and stakeholders
