About this role
Commvault seeks a Channel Sales Engineer to provide technical pre-sales support for current and prospective clients in the Austin or New Jersey region. This role requires a trusted advisor who translates business needs into technical solutions, drives revenue, and mentors teams while supporting complex sales opportunities for their cyber resilience platform.
What you'll do
- Develop territory and account strategies while identifying new opportunities within assigned regions
- Engage senior IT leadership to understand technical, financial, and business challenges addressable by Commvault products
- Create and deliver technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and presentations to multiple stakeholder levels
- Collaborate with internal teams to build compelling business cases and present solutions to C-level executives
- Provide technical enablement and expertise to channel and alliance partners
- Maintain Salesforce documentation and keep management informed of key issues impacting business results
