About this role

Contoro Robotics seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to develop and optimize autonomy integration software for warehouse automation robots. You'll bridge motion planning, robot control, and hardware coordination to improve cycle time and reliability in deployed systems, working across the full stack from trajectory execution to fault recovery.

What you'll do

  • Develop trajectory execution, task sequencing, and hardware coordination software for autonomous robots
  • Profile and reduce cycle delays across motion planning, execution, end-effectors, sensing, and material handling
  • Build and integrate reusable robot motions with online planning systems
  • Extend behavior trees and state machines for task execution, coordination, and fault recovery
  • Integrate motion-planning outputs with industrial controllers, hardware interfaces, and safety constraints
  • Diagnose production issues using logs, telemetry, simulation, and physical robot testing
