About this role
Crunchyroll seeks a Software Engineer III to build and optimize media delivery infrastructure for anime streaming at scale. You'll design robust video streaming solutions, manage CDN deployments, and lead technical initiatives across cloud platforms while mentoring peers on engineering excellence.
What you'll do
- Architect and implement fast, reliable content delivery systems for streaming video
- Design and deploy CDN solutions using vendors like Fastly and Akamai
- Build cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Conduct technical design and code reviews; mentor engineers on best practices
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting across all solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery from design through production support
