Field Engineer, Public Sector
About this role
Field Engineer to drive adoption of an AI coding automation platform within federal and defense agencies. You'll own technical discovery, proof-of-concepts, and demos for strategic public sector customers while serving as a trusted technical advisor to developers, security teams, and leadership.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and POCs for new deals and account expansion with AEs
- Build relationships across engineering, security, product, and IT stakeholders in federal agencies
- Navigate mission-critical, high-security environments to understand developer workflows and constraints
- Connect Cursor capabilities to customer outcomes: developer productivity, secure delivery, mission velocity
- Deliver technical presentations and workshops for technical and executive audiences
- Advocate for customer needs internally with Product and Engineering teams
