Backend Engineer - New Grad

About this role

D3 is seeking a Backend Engineer (New Grad) to build blockchain-powered backend systems for a domain tokenization platform. You'll work on Web2/Web3 infrastructure connecting traditional domain registries with DeFi primitives, learning modern technologies alongside experienced engineers in a Los Angeles-based hybrid role.

What you'll do

• Design and implement backend services for domain registrar and marketplace platforms
• Develop systems that integrate with blockchain protocols
• Build payment integrations supporting traditional and cryptocurrency payments
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Debug and improve existing codebases with senior engineer mentorship
• Translate product requirements into backend features collaboratively

• Backend programming (JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or similar)
• SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Git and version control
• RESTful API design
• Problem-solving and debugging
