Software Engineer

About this role

DebtBook seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain its sophisticated treasury platform serving the public sector. You'll work full-stack on a Ruby on Rails and React application, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality financial infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Develop full-stack features across the SDLC from design through deployment and monitoring
• Write and maintain tests to ensure code quality before merging and releasing
• Break down work into tickets, own ticket completion, and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and industry specialists on solution design
• Deploy code and monitor application performance in production
• Work with both frontend and backend systems on a monolithic Rails + React architecture
