About this role

Decagon seeks an IT Engineer to serve as the primary on-site IT support person for our San Francisco office, managing identity and access systems, endpoint administration, and SaaS operations for a rapidly growing AI company. You'll own the full employee lifecycle through Okta, maintain our core cloud infrastructure, and automate recurring IT work while supporting security and compliance initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Provide on-site IT support for San Francisco office, resolving hardware, account, and access issues through ticket queue and in-person assistance
  • Administer identity and access management via Okta, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning
  • Configure and maintain SSO, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integrations across SaaS applications
  • Manage Mac endpoints through Rippling MDM, including configuration policies, patching, and compliance enforcement
  • Automate recurring IT and access-management tasks using Python, Bash, and iPaaS tools like Workato
  • Support security and compliance efforts including least-privilege access, MFA enforcement, and SOC 2 documentation
