About this role

Defense Unicorns seeks a Platform Engineer to deploy and maintain UDS on secure bare-metal infrastructure. You'll bridge application teams and the platform, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability while working in a government contractor environment requiring U.S. citizenship.

What you'll do

  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot UDS and Kubernetes-based platform services in bare-metal environments
  • Design and manage infrastructure as code for consistent, repeatable deployments
  • Support bare-metal infrastructure architecture including GPU compute, storage, and networking
  • Enable secure software delivery through container images, registries, and deployment artifacts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform challenges collaborating with mission stakeholders and engineering teams
  • Manage Kubernetes cluster operations, workload deployment, and infrastructure troubleshooting
