About this role
DevRev seeks a Founding Sales Engineering Lead to establish the technical go-to-market strategy for its AI platform in the federal, defense, and public sector markets. You'll build the SE organization from the ground up, lead complex technical sales, and shape how the platform addresses government mission-critical use cases.
What you'll do
- Establish technical go-to-market strategy and solution patterns for federal and defense customers
- Lead complex technical sales as primary authority for public sector opportunities and strategic deals
- Design and deliver mission-focused product demonstrations with synthetic datasets reflecting government workflows
- Serve as voice of public sector customer, providing product feedback on compliance and deployment requirements
- Support FedRAMP strategy and help customers navigate secure deployment models and data governance
- Recruit, mentor, and build the SE organization with playbooks and operating models for public sector growth

- Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture (8+ years)
- Federal Civilian, Defense, or Public Sector customer experience
- Technical demonstration and proof-of-concept delivery
- Cloud platform knowledge
- AI or data platform expertise
- API-driven architecture understanding
- FedRAMP, GovCloud, or regulated environment familiarity
- Team building and technical enablement
