Software Engineer, Developer Success

About this role

Discord seeks a Software Engineer for the Developer Success team to build tools and features that enable game developers to integrate Discord functionality into their games. You'll work across Discord's app, APIs, and SDK to enhance the gaming experience while collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Develop features for game developers across Discord's app, portal, APIs, and Social SDK
• Write, review, and ship scalable code in collaboration with team members
• Own projects end-to-end from design through launch with team support
• Partner with game developers to understand their needs and improve tools
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partner managers
• Maintain and raise code quality standards across projects

What they're looking for

• Software engineering (1-3+ years experience)
• Game development experience
• Python, Elixir, Rust, TypeScript/React, or C++
• Ability to learn new programming languages quickly
