About this role

Divergent seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to support the transition of advanced Laser Powder Bed Fusion production equipment from development into high-volume manufacturing. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, improve reliability and performance metrics, and help scale solutions across multiple factories.

What you'll do

  • Support transition of newly developed L-PBF production equipment from qualification into sustained manufacturing operations
  • Drive improvements in equipment reliability, throughput, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) on assigned machines
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment problems at the machine level and develop engineering solutions
  • Transform machine-level solutions into standardized practices deployable across the fleet
  • Collaborate with senior equipment engineers, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams
  • Own technical responsibility for assigned production equipment and support fleet expansion
