About this role

DLH seeks a CANES SME (Engineering Technician IV) to develop and maintain Navy shipboard network training curriculum aligned with the latest fleet baseline. Working onsite at Naval Station Norfolk, you'll translate system updates and operational requirements into practical training materials that support fleet readiness and TACNET modernization.

What you'll do

  • Review CANES system updates and configuration changes to keep curriculum aligned with current fleet baseline
  • Develop and maintain courseware, lesson plans, student guides, labs, and presentation materials for CANES and C4I training
  • Apply Instructional System Design methodology to define learning requirements and objectives
  • Use Navy authoring tools (CPM/LOM, AIM) to create and manage curriculum content
  • Support pilot courses and fleet training events with technical expertise
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback to maintain accuracy and instructional quality
