IT Software Asset Management Analyst

About this role

DoorDash is hiring an IT Software Asset Management Analyst to oversee the lifecycle, licensing, and optimization of enterprise SaaS and AI software platforms globally. You'll manage vendor relationships, control costs, ensure compliance, and collaborate with IT, Security, Finance, and Procurement teams to maximize software investments.

What you'll do

• Manage full lifecycle of SaaS and AI software assets from procurement through retirement
• Administer software licensing and conduct utilization analysis to identify optimization opportunities
• Reconcile purchased licenses against actual usage and maintain accurate entitlement records
• Assign, transfer, and revoke software licenses based on access requirements and policies
• Support vendor negotiations, renewals, and contract evaluations with cross-functional teams
• Develop reporting dashboards and track cost savings from optimization initiatives
