Software Engineer - Cumberland/FICCO Tools Engineering

About this role

DRW seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain trading tools for Cumberland and FICC options desks. You'll alternate between embedded deployments on trading floors solving urgent problems and leveraging those insights to create reusable platform solutions.

What you'll do

• Embed with trading desks to understand business needs and deliver specialized solutions
• Take full ownership of products from prototyping through stable production
• Build, maintain and extend the central trading platform used across desks
• Extract reusable patterns and domain knowledge from forward deployments
• Work across greenfield and legacy systems in Python, Java, C++, and TypeScript
• Provide on-call support for production systems

• Functional programming (preferred)
• Financial markets or FICC options trading knowledge (preferred)
