Software Engineer - Prediction Markets (Python)
About this role
DRW's Prediction Markets Desk seeks a Python engineer to build production trading systems from concept through deployment. You'll work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to develop real-time pricing pipelines, position management, reconciliation, and risk infrastructure for a new trading desk in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
What you'll do
- Build real-time pricing pipelines, trade capture, and middle-office systems for prediction market venues
- Develop and implement trading signals and strategies in collaboration with researchers
- Own systems end-to-end from prototype to stable production, including hardening and scaling for new markets
- Create infrastructure for efficient market opportunity capture across multiple venues
- Provide on-call support and maintain legacy systems alongside greenfield development
- Grow research tooling and infrastructure to support desk operations

- Real-time data processing and multi-venue systems

- Trading operations knowledge (order lifecycle, PnL, audit trails)
- On-chain data familiarity
- Linux-based concurrent, high-throughput systems
- Clear communication with traders, researchers, and engineers
