About this role

DRW's Cumberland Systematic team seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain the full-stack infrastructure supporting a global, 24/7 systematic trading operation. You'll develop integrations with data vendors and blockchain systems, collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, and work with Python and C++ codebases to enable high-availability trading research.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software infrastructure for quantitative financial research
  • Integrate with diverse data sources including blockchains, exchanges, and external vendors
  • Manage and optimize large, evolving timeseries datasets for research workflows
  • Accelerate the research lifecycle from data engineering through feature generation and analysis
  • Conduct unit, functional, and integration-level testing
  • Provide on-call support for production systems as needed
