Echodyne Corp
Electrical Design Engineer (Analog & Mixed Signal)
About this role
Echodyne seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to develop analog and mixed-signal subsystems for advanced radar technology. You'll design, verify, and support high-reliability radar circuits while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.
What you'll do
- Design and verify analog/mixed-signal subsystems for radar systems, ensuring technical excellence and manufacturability
- Lead design-shaping discussions and technical reviews with cross-functional teams to develop robust radar architectures
- Provide circuit design expertise in simulation, analysis, and verification planning to guide design execution
- Perform board bring-up, acceptance testing, and design verification of PCBs from prototype to production
- Conduct root-cause investigations, trade studies, and continuous improvement initiatives for subsystem performance
- Apply Design for Excellence and Design for Manufacturability principles throughout the product lifecycle
What they're looking for
- Analog and mixed-signal circuit design and theory
- SPICE simulation and Altium Designer (or equivalent CAD tools)
- Component selection, PCB layout, thermal and signal integrity optimization
- Low-speed signaling protocols (SPI, I2C)
- Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and lab debugging equipment
- Board bring-up and design verification testing
- Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Test principles
- Knowledge of operational amplifiers, power management ICs, oscillators, and voltage regulators
