Optimization Engineer

Efficient is looking for Software Optimization Engineers to enhance the performance of their energy-efficient programmable processor. The role involves optimizing applications and libraries while collaborating with multiple engineering teams to push compute performance limits.

What you'll do

• Optimize and benchmark applications for the programmable processor
• Collaborate with compiler and embedded teams
• Write, debug, and maintain low-level C/C++ code
• Analyze and maximize software performance
• Document complex systems clearly
• Contribute to the development of optimized libraries and applications

What they're looking for

• Experience with RISC, DSP, or GPU platforms
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Knowledge of AI tools for code optimization
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with CUDA, HIP, or parallel programming models
• Understanding of low-level programming interfaces
• Background in performance profiling or benchmark design
• Domain expertise in areas like ML or image processing
