Associate Backend Engineer

About this role

Eulerity seeks a Backend Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to build and maintain backend services for a marketing automation platform. You'll work with AI-assisted development tools daily, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a NYC-based hybrid role.

What you'll do

• Build, test, and maintain backend services powering the core platform
• Own features from design through deployment with end-to-end accountability
• Leverage AI agents and LLM tools to prototype and ship features faster
• Contribute product ideas and help shape the engineering roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on features and releases
• Support documentation and knowledge sharing across the engineering team

What they're looking for

• Backend development with Java (minimum 1 year)
• Hands-on experience with AI agents (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or similar)
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI-assisted development workflows
• Third-party API integration
• Problem-solving and creative thinking
• Communication and collaborative teamwork
• Testing and debugging practices
• Willingness to continuously learn emerging technologies
