Embedded Systems Engineer, Humanoid Robotics
About this role
Join a Boston-based robotics team as an Embedded Systems Engineer to design and develop firmware and hardware control systems for humanoid robots. You'll work on real-time embedded applications, optimize performance across multiple platforms, and collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to bring advanced robotics to life.
What you'll do
- Design and implement firmware for robotic control systems and embedded processors
- Develop real-time software for motor control, sensor integration, and system communication
- Optimize embedded code for performance, power efficiency, and reliability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB design and component selection
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and profiling tools
- Conduct testing and validation of embedded subsystems in physical robot platforms
