Agent Experience Engineer
About this role
Firecrawl seeks an engineer to optimize how AI agents discover and use their web-to-data API platform. You'll design A/B tests, ship product improvements rapidly, and apply scientific rigor to agent-facing surfaces—working independently in a fast-moving, frontier AI infrastructure company.
What you'll do
- Design and run A/B tests across agent-facing interfaces (MCPs, CLIs, APIs, documentation)
- Translate experiment results into shipped product improvements with rapid iteration
- Monitor emerging AI agent tools and frameworks to inform product decisions
- Form and test hypotheses about how agents discover and select tools in production
- Own problems end-to-end with minimal guidance in an uncharted space
- Maintain scientific rigor in product development without over-researching
