About this role
FT Partners seeks a full-stack software engineer to develop and maintain FT Base, a mission-critical Python/Django/React/PostgreSQL platform that powers their fintech investment banking operations, including AI agents and enterprise CRM functionality.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain features for FT Base while minimizing technical debt
- Analyze system requirements across multiple functional areas and execute development tasks
- Recommend architectural improvements, refactoring opportunities, and feature alignment strategies
- Review and secure applications prototyped outside the engineering department
- Contribute to an MCP server enabling enterprise AI tool integration
- Collaborate on consolidating and strengthening the software suite for long-term impact
