Neros seeks an SMT Process Engineer to manage high-volume PCB assembly operations at their Torrance facility, focusing on equipment programming, process optimization, and quality control. What you'll do

  • Program and configure automated SMT equipment including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection systems
  • Develop and maintain quality plans, standard operating procedures, and process documentation while training operational staff
  • Provide front-line support to SMT line operations, troubleshoot defects, reduce scrap rates, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Specify and procure tooling such as stencils and manage new product introduction (NPI) activities
  • Deliver design-for-manufacturability feedback to engineering teams and support scaling from prototype through high-volume production
