About this role
Fivetran seeks a Customer Support Engineer to provide technical support for the API Connector Team, helping customers resolve data pipeline issues while collaborating with internal development teams. This hybrid role in Denver involves troubleshooting complex technical problems, becoming an expert on Fivetran's platform, and serving as the customer's technical advocate within the company.
What you'll do
- Provide virtual technical support to customers and partners on Fivetran platform issues
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical problems using logs, tools, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve bugs affecting customers
- Develop expertise in API Connectors and related technologies
- Document solutions in knowledge base and share learnings across the support team
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution

- 2+ years of professional technical support or related experience
- API troubleshooting and debugging expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Log analysis and troubleshooting
- GitHub familiarity and pull request experience
