Systems Engineer, Integrations (Data and Systems)

About this role

Fivetran seeks a Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable integrations across their core business systems including Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday. You'll work at the intersection of software engineering and systems integration, ensuring data flows accurately and on time while establishing best practices across the organization.

What you'll do

• Define and enforce integration patterns and governance standards across internal systems
• Design and implement end-to-end data and process integrations between multiple business applications
• Investigate technical issues from other teams and implement code solutions
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and build appropriate integrations
• Monitor integrations and create dashboards/alerts for system performance visibility
• Support incident response and minimize downtime through proactive monitoring

What they're looking for

• 5+ years Systems Engineering experience with data and application integration focus
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript
• Advanced SQL skills
• API integration and integration testing expertise
• Monitoring and alerting solutions experience
• Knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, or Zendesk
• Software engineering best practices
• Strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution
