About this role
Foxglove seeks a Forward-Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers, integrating and extending our robotics data platform while contributing to core product development. This full-stack role combines hands-on engineering with customer collaboration, requiring 25-50% travel to deploy solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
What you'll do
- Embed with customers to understand technical requirements and business goals in robotics contexts
- Design and build end-to-end solutions using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and ROS
- Scope projects, draft timelines, and define success metrics for POCs and production deployments
- Code collaboratively with customer engineers and ensure successful platform adoption
- Relay frontline insights to product and engineering teams to inform roadmap decisions
- Document best practices and mentor future forward-deployed engineers
