General Matter, a uranium enrichment company backed by top-tier investors, seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to design and oversee electrical systems for a greenfield nuclear fuel enrichment facility. You'll lead the development of high-power electrical infrastructure from concept through commissioning, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

  • Design detailed electrical systems including power distribution, UPS units, generators, and automatic transfer switches
  • Prepare design packages to permit level using Revit
  • Conduct load flow analysis, equipment evaluation, and grounding design
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA and IBC electrical codes
  • Collaborate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and nuclear engineers on system integration
