Power and Performance Validation Engineer

About this role

Graphcore seeks a Power and Performance Validation Engineer to lead validation strategy for advanced AI compute silicon and systems. You'll drive power, thermal, and performance validation across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet efficiency and reliability standards.

What you'll do

• Define and execute validation strategies for power, thermal, and performance characterization of AI silicon
• Conduct post-silicon bring-up and characterization activities autonomously
• Develop scalable automation frameworks and regression infrastructure using Python
• Design and execute benchmark workloads and performance experiments to identify optimization opportunities
• Analyze power and thermal data to identify bottlenecks and recommend system improvements
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, firmware, and software teams to debug complex technical issues

• SoC architecture (CPU, memory, interconnect, high-speed I/O)
• Linux systems and low-level performance analysis
• Python programming for automation and data analysis
